The only Cooperative of Chateauneuf-Du-Pape

Created in 1925, the Cellier des Princes is the only cooperative cellar on the Chateauneuf du Pape area.
Our wines are vinified with a great number of grape varieties – up to thirteen for the Chateauneuf du Pape.
Our wines always reflect their origin: deepness of the pebbles for strength, dryness and hot sandy soils for power and spices, chalky sandstones for structure, clayey – siliceous hillocks for richness and roundness.
Most of our growers have vineyards in Châteauneuf du Pape and vineyards in Côtes du Rhône. For that reason, the large majority of the grapes used in our Côtes du Rhône have been hand-harvested since they can use the same team of harvesters. This way we can offer superior quality. The grapes are coming from 40 to 50-year-old vineyards, which brings personality and complexity to our Côtes du Rhône.
