Chateau Fonsalade

Located in the heart of Languedoc, in Saint-Chinian AOC, Château Fonsalade is a historical vineyard which has always been committed to the production of quality wines; red, white or rosé. A unique soil, an exceptional climate and an old savoir-faire are the key elements to satisfy both demanding professionals and enlightened amateurs. The name of our vineyard comes from the Occitan word “Font Salat”, which means “salted fountain”. It is reminiscent of the source, naturally salted, which gushes from the soil. This specific water offers advantages and antiseptic properties which are essential to an integrated agriculture, in the respect for the environment.
