Clos de Chacras was founded in 1921 by the Gargantini Family and today both Silvia Gargantini, granddaughter of the founder, and her husband Alejandro Genoud are the ones who have the great task of continuing the tradition and keeping the legacy intact. Their union is the quintessence that makes possible the creation of great wines in which the love for the land and the value of the family can be perceived.
For more than 100 years, this secret garden of vineyards, lagoons and groves has been jealously hidden in the heart of Chacras de Coria. Here our wines are made in traditional concrete tanks equipped with modern stainless steel equipment with individual capacity that does not exceed 14,000 liters. The aging process takes place in underground cellars with natural temperature and light conditions where it is passed through wood and subsequently stored in bottles.
