Domaine Lecomte

As testimony to the high quality of wines from Quincy, it was the first appellation created in Loire Valley, even before Sancerre. Quincy produces exceptionally racy, dry wine exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc. Domaine Lecomte is one of the most awarded, highly acclaimed by both French and international critics wineries. Everything started in 1985 when Brothers Bruno and Nicolas Lecomte acquired lieu-dit La Pointe as part of a consortium of Cave De Romane growers (including Jacques Tatin). La Pointe is considered to be one of the best lieu-dits in Quincy. Cultivating boutique property of 7 ha Domaine Lecomte makes no compromise in achieving highest quality and expressing terroir of Quincy.
