Certified Organic and Biodynamic

On the Northernmost point of the Corbieres AOC Bernard & Dominique Alias cultivate 80 acres of vineyards on the north slope of the Alaric Mountian. They are the fifth generation of the Alias family to run the estate. In 1997 Bernard took the reins and replanted 42 acres of vineyards allowing the estate to provide a wide range of varieties including Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Roussane, Grenache Blanc, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. Over the past 8 years they have been practicing sustainable agriculture under the Terra Vitis label and since 2011 have begun the process of converting to organic agriculture. Since 2008 Christelle, daughter of Bernard took over the Estate to become the first female winemaker of Domaine Sainte Marie Des Crozes.
