Bodega Y Vinedos Sanchez
This passion for vineyards and winemaking began in the 1960s with Juan Sánchez as a family pioneer in vineyard planting, who was also one of the members of the well-known Luján Cooperative, which made wines in MENDOZA. In the 1980s, the second generation began to take over: the three brothers of the family, Federico, Juan Carlos and Gabriel Sánchez. They decided to continue with the plantation of vineyards, to later found, in 2004, Bodegas y Viñedos Sánchez S.A. where currently the third generation is working, in the commercial and administrative areas.
The winery is built with a modern structure and currently has a capacity of 1,540,000 liters in stainless steel tanks of different capacities to judiciously distribute the best products. This volume is distributed in 70 tanks of: 33, 55, 75, 100, 150, 200, 230, 250, 275, 460, 550 Hl.
We currently have more than 30 French and American oak barrels, soft and medium toasts, located in a specific sector with temperature control.
For the reception and grinding we have stainless steel machinery, selection belt, grinder and screw pump.
The main refrigeration equipment has a capacity of 396,830 BTU/hour. The establishment prioritizes the quality of the product from its beginning; it thus adopts the milling of the pre-cooled grapes. There is also a hot water generator to respond to specific demands. All the tanks are connected to the cold-heat circuits so that each one independently can have one or another system. A 100 Hl pneumatic press and various conveyor belts are available to complete the process
